Beauty with a Water Dipper

Comments - Interesting portrait of a beauty holding a dipper as she stands beside a bucket of water. She pauses to look down at a rather evil-looking cat on the ground nearby, the animal snarling angrily. She wears a brown plaid kimono lined with a mushroom print, a blue and white apron tied around her waist. Above a border of clouds, teahouses stretch into the distance with a fire tower visible at upper right. A handsome design.

Artist - Toyokuni III/Kunisada (1786 - 1864)

Image Size - 13 3/4" x 10"

Condition - This print with good detail as shown. Backed with paper. Small loss at corner, a few small holes, repaired. A few creases at edges and spots. Please see photos for details.
