Message Tied to a Cherry Tree

Comments - Attractive portrait of a beauty reaching up to take a message tied to a branch of a blossoming cherry tree. She looks up with a slight smile, holding the edges of her robe together with her other hand. Her kimono features an intricate pattern of chrysanthemum blossoms, worn over a red under robe with a tan collar. Her hair is pulled back into a sleek bun, adorned with a comb and hairpins decorated with cherry blossoms and a tiny bird. The edge of a bench can be seen at right, with stepping stones leading through the garden beyond. An interesting subject.
