Sawamura Tossho as a Man in a Garden, 1862

Comments - Handsome kabuki portrait of Sawamura Tossho as a man standing beside a cherry tree in a garden, staring over his shoulder with a suspicious frown. His tan kimono is bordered with flowing water and blossoms, worn over a light blue, and red under robes. White blossoms hang overhead against the evening sky. An attractive design.

Image Size - 14 1/8" x 9 3/4"

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Paper remnants on reverse at edge from previous mounting. A couple repairs, slight creasing. Please see photos for details.
