Couple under a Blossoming Cherry Tree, 1873

Comments - Attractive kabuki scene of a couple under a blossoming cherry trees. The man looks over his shoulder with a solemn expression as he holds up a red tray with a geta clog on it. He wears a black kimono patterned with colorful blossoms on folding fans over a red under robe, a white cloth draped over his shoulder and a shakuhachi flute visible above his back. The beauty leans forward with a wary expression as she pulls up the collar of her kimono. A handsome design, vibrantly colored.
