Series; Ten Superb Roles of Rikan Matched with the Ten Stems

Shunkan Shima Monogatari: Nakamura Shikan IV as Shunkan, 1863 - Great kabuki portrait of Nakamura Shikan IV as the samurai Shunkan, who was exiled to the island of Kikai for plotting against the Taira leader, Kiyomori. He clenches a fist before him, a tight-lipped frown on his face. His outer robe features panels of swirling clouds against deep blue skies along with a geometric print, one sleeve pushed down to reveal a light blue robe with an allover embossed pattern. A handsome design from a rarely seen series depicting Nakamura Shikan IV in ten different roles.
