Series; Ancient Customs Paintings

Ancient Customs Paintings - Handsome design from the "Ancient Customs Paintings" series, which features a variety of subjects painted in the style of earlier Japanese masters. Many different artists contributed to the series, including Kamisaka Sekka. Published by Unsodo in Taisho 2 - 3 (1913 - 1914), these charming designs feature soft color and subjects ranging from children playing and scenes from daily life to noblemen traveling and the Six Immortal Poets.
