Afternoon on a Pleasure Boat - Fantastic Kiyonaga design of a group of upper-class beauties and young men enjoying a summer afternoon on the river in pleasure boats. The tow boats glide past the wooden pillars of a bridge, with a beauty at left standing in the prow, the breeze blowing her flowing sleeves. At right, a man prepares a fish, slicing it open on a cutting board placed across a tub of water. Lovely color and detail in this attractive triptych, rarely seen in reprint.
