Comments - Lovely contemporary image of umbrellas drying in the sun alongside a wall with a tile roof. The muted colors and soft gradations of tone create an atmospheric effect. The American painter and printmaker Joel Stewart has lived in Kyoto since 1986. Would make a beautiful framed display. Please note, this is a limited edition etching, not a woodblock print.
