Nihonbashi, Clearing after Snow - Beautiful early morning view of the Nihonbashi area in Edo. The Nihon Bridge stretches across the river, the water below already busy with boat traffic. At lower right, the fish market bustles with business, while along the shore men unload cargo. At left center, clouds drift across rows of white storehouses, with Edo Castle beyond at right, and Mt. Fuji rising in the distance.
