Grandpa's Teahouse, Meguro - Handsome landscape view from the Teahouse Slope across the rice fields to the mountains in the distance. Pine trees dot the hill, with a winding path leading down past Grandpa's Teahouse, where visitors stop to relax. According to legend, a shogun stopped here while hunting, and was served tea by an elderly couple, and after that their teahouse was known as Grandpa's Teahouse. A farmer can be seen leading his horse among the golden fields, and the peak of Mt. Fuji rises above low-lying clouds. An attractive composition with beautiful color and fine bokashi shading.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Paper remnants on reverse at sides from original publisher mounting. Slight toning at edges. Some prints have a few small repairs, creases, or spots. Please see photos for details.
