Flowers, 1847 - 1852 - Charming scene of Prince Genji relaxing on a window seat on a spring evening. He smiles as he looks down, a flute in one hand and his arm resting atop the railing. The window opens onto a view of the water with ships anchored for the night and mountains in the distance. An attractive design with a nicely detailed setting.
