Narumi and Miya: Bando Mitsugoro IV as the Old Man of Kasahara and Nakamura Fukusuke I as Miyamoto Musashi - Handsome kabuki double portrait featuring Bando Mitsugoro IV as the Old Man of Kasahara, who trained the young Miyamoto Musashi, played by Nakamura Fukusuke I, in martial arts at his rustic home in the mountains. Here, the samurai raises a wooden practice sword above his head as his master uses a wooden pot lid to block the blows. Beautifully detailed with a burnished geometric pattern on Musashi's black kimono.
