Ichimura Kakitsu IV, 1865

Comments - Interesting kabuki portrait of Ichimura Kakitsu, who appears in a shaped inset against a stage set. He looks down with an angry grimace, dressed in a boldly patterned blue and white kimono. In the background, a curtain hangs overhead with leafy bamboo at right. An expressive figure.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Paper remnants on reverse from previous backing. Small tear at edge, a couple holes, repaired. Soiling, slight toning, slight rippling at edge. Please see photos for details.
