Sanno Festival Procession at Kojimachi 1-chome - Terrific depiction of the Sanno Festival procession entering the castle grounds through the Hanzo Gate, the Benkei Moat in the foreground. The Sanno Festival procession consisted of more than fifty lavish floats, paid for by the members of the procession. At left, a float of Odenma-cho towers above the figures in matching hats marching along the water's edge below. An interesting perspective of this famous annual festival.
