Ferry Boats off Imagire near Maizaka, 1855 - Fantastic view of ferry boats making their way around the rocky outcroppings off Imagire near Maizaka. Travelers had to cross the junction of Lake Hamana and the Pacific Ocean by water at this point along the Tokaido Road. The mountaintops are covered with green foliage, and a rosy glow spreads along the horizon as the sun sets. An attractive design with fine bokashi shading.

Image Size - 13 3/8" x 8 3/4" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Paper remnants on reverse at top edge from previous mounting. A few holes, a couple small tears, repaired. Toning, vertical fold at side. Please see photos for details.
