Shirasawa - Fantastic depiction of a shirasawa, a mythological creature that is thought to bring good fortune. The goat-like animal has multiple eyes and horns on its head, and another set of eyes and horns on its side. A fascinating design by Hokusai from Volume II of his famous Manga series. This print is mounted to a backing sheet with a stamp that reads "Original Print/Guarantee/By Sakai Co. Ltd./Established 1874/Yokohama Japan" (see below).
