Amusements at Goten-yama, circa 1832 - 1834 - Beautiful scene of people enjoying the cherry blossoms at Goten-yama or Goten Hill overlooking the harbor. Picnickers have spread mats atop the hillside and set out tea, sake, and refreshments, relaxing and chatting as they admire the panoramic view of the rooftops below and the ships dotting the water. A charming subject, nicely composed.
