Tenmangu Shrine at Yushima, 1854 - Interesting view of Tenmangu Shrine at Yushima, with visitors strolling about the grounds. In the center, two women pause beneath a tall torii gate, while at left, a customer relaxes on a bench at a tea stand with colorful red paper lanterns hanging from the eaves. At right, a mother leads her child by the hand as she climbs the stairs to the shrine, and Shinobazu Pond can be seen beyond the rooftops below. A rarely seen Hiroshige design.

Condition - This print with good detail as shown. Slight paper remnants on reverse at corners from previous mounting. Vertical centerfold. Small hole, repaired. Toning, slight creasing. Please see photos for details.
