Comments - Fantastic image of a hawk perched in a pine tree by the Kyoto artist Suiko Fukuda. The bird's feathers are beautifully detailed, with the solid shape of the bird contrasting nicely with the rugged calligraphic line work of the bark and the delicate needles at upper right. The first time we've seen this striking design.
