Beauty with a Lantern - Lovely portrait of a beauty carrying a lantern, smiling as she looks back over her shoulder. Her blue kimono is patterned with balancing dolls, worn over a red under robe and tied with a black floral obi. A folding screen along the back of the room depicts a mandarin duck in winter beneath a blossoming plum tree covered with snow. A charming design with a nicely detailed interior. Includes embossing on the white kimono collar and trim, and burnishing on the black obi and the black areas of the blue kimono.

Image Size - 14 1/4" x 9 3/4" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Diagonal folds. Hole, repaired. Wrinkling throughout, toning, slight toning and soiling. Please see photos for details.
