Yoshitoshi's untitled series of 47 ronin - Handsome uncut page featuring two chuban designs from an untitled Yoshitoshi series depicting the 47 ronin from the classic drama "Chushingura." Each print shows two or three of the samurai involved in the vendetta to avenge Lord Hangan's death, wearing the ronin's trademark black and white robes over armor. A purple border with the inverted comma crest of Oishi Kuranosuke, the leader of the ronin, surrounds the images. A red or yellow name cartouche identifies each samurai.
