Vine and Gourds

Comments - Lovely image of a vine with a yellow blossom and two gourds. The delicate tendrils wind their way around the edge of the print, creating a beautiful asymmetrical composition. A small insect flutters in the air next to the flower. Beautifully drawn. The National Museum of Asian Art at the Smithsonian has this subject in its collection. The first time we've seen this Kogyo nature design.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Paper hinge mounts on reverse at top corners. Slight toning, a few light creases at edges. Please see photos for details.
