Colored Paper of the Twelve Months - Lovely design from Soshu Sato's series "Colored Paper of the Twelve Months" (Irogami junikagetsu), which features one nature subject for each month of the year. These landscapes and images of birds and flowers capture the beauty of the seasons, from blossoming trees in the spring and summer flowers to maple leaves in autumn and Mt. Fuji in winter. Published by Juzaburo Araki around the Taisho era (1912 - 1926), this is the first time we've seen these attractive designs. A nice choice for a collector interested in shin-hanga woodblocks.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. A few prints have a couple small marks or spots. Please see photos for details. Generally nice condition overall.
