Sumida River, 1864 - Handsome view of the Sumida River in Edo with a ship in the center loaded with cargo, the sail billowing in the wind, and several other boats on the water. At left, passengers ride in a ferry. Blossoming cherry trees dot the embankment beyond, with steps leading up to a shrine with a tori gate. A few yellow clouds border the scene at top.
