Yoshitoshi's 47 Ronin - Great design from an unusual Yoshitoshi series depicting the 47 ronin. These small format woodblocks feature expressive figures framed by the ronin's traditional dogtooth border. This is the first time we've seen these rare Yoshitoshi designs, and we've been unable to identify the specific series. A couple of the prints have a snake zodiac calendar date seal, which corresponds to 1869. A nice choice for a Yoshitoshi collector.

Condition - This print with excellent color as shown. Stitching holes at side, a couple wormholes, repaired. Some prints have slight soiling, rubbing at edges, or a few creases. Please see photos for details.
