Kyogen Patterns - Attractive design from a series depicting costume elements, props, and settings for Noh and Kyogen plays. Noh is a traditional form of Japanese theater which features masks, spare stage decoration, and sumptuous costumes, combining drama, dance, and music. Kyogen are comic plays, often performed during the intermissions of Noh plays. These carefully detailed images are beautifully printed, and most feature silver or gold mica accents. These decorative prints are a nice choice for display or for a collector interested in classic Japanese theater.
