Series; Elegant Pastime in the Four Seasons (Furyu shiki no asobi)

Watching a Cuckoo in the Fourth Month - Lovely scene of a beauty and a young girl out for a stroll in the fourth month, the beauty at right pausing to look up as a cuckoo flies overhead. She holds an umbrella trimmed with blue, and her white kimono features embossed stripes. The girl also looks up, gesturing with one finer. Each has her hair pulled back into a smooth bun, adorned with a large comb and several hairpins. An attractive design with fine linework in the hair and a dusting of mica across the sky.

Image Size - 14 1/2" x 9 7/8"

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Backed with somewhat stiff paper. Horizontal and vertical folds. Small loss and thinning at edge, a few wormholes, repaired. Toning, slight soiling, slight rubbing at edge. Please see photos for details.
