The New Eight Best Scenery of
Kiso River, Inuyama, circa 1927 - Beautiful view of Inuyuma Castle perched atop a hill above the Kiso River. A couple birds wheel through the violet sky as evening falls, a single boat on the water below. The texture of the rocky shore in the foreground is repeated in the foliage of the trees on the far bank. An attractive, quiet design with soft bokashi shading.
This presentation - This print comes in a windowed viewing folder that fits into an outer paper envelope. The envelope has the series title, artist's name, and title of the work, along with a map identifying the locations of the subjects in the series. We've never before come across this subject as originally issued by the publisher. A great choice for a collector.

Image Size - Image 9 3/8" x 6 3/8" + margins as shown; outer folder 15 1/4" x 11 3/8"
Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Mounted to folder at two points on reverse at right edge. Slight rippling from printing process. Please see photos for details. Otherwise excellent condition.
