Forty-eight Famous Views of Edo - Terrific landscape design from Hiroshige II's "Forty-Eight Famous Views of Edo." This handsome series was published from 1860 to 1861, early in Hiroshige II's career. These attractive scenes feature classic views of famous landmarks and beautiful scenery in and around Edo, in a variety of seasons. From temples surrounded by blossoming cherry trees to busy harbors or crowded streets, these charming images capture life in old Edo in colorful detail.
