Kabuki Scenes

Comments - Interesting print depicting several different scenes from a kabuki play, with a cleverly designed composition integrating the scenes. At lower left, a beauty kneels in the snow, a young girl beside her fastening a cloth over her head. A commoner shelters the child with an umbrella as he waits outside a doorway. At upper right, a man with his face partially concealed carries a wooden box under his shoulder. A handsome design with expressive figures.
