Adachi was one of the most respected publishers of the 20th century. Their woodblocks were printed to the highest standards with excellent color and fine detail. Founded in 1925, Adachi also chose interesting and varied subjects for their prints and was the only publisher of many famous old ukiyo-e images.

Mosquito Net - Lovely design of two young beauties preparing to retire for the evening. One is already under the mosquito netting, her hair tied back with a white sash. Her companion stands outside the protective netting, carrying a roll of tissues, her tie-dyed kimono loosely wrapped around her. Beautiful fine line work in the mosquito net. A charming subject rarely seen in reprint.
