Comments - Handsome kabuki portrait of the actors Ichikawa Danjuro and Nakamura Shikan greeting the audience in a kojo or formal stage announcement. At right, Danjuro bows respectfully, his hands on the floor before him. Nakamura Shikan looks over his shoulder with an angry frown, his brows furrowed. A red border across the top features white blossoms. Nicely detailed with burnishing on the black kimono.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Small hole, repaired. Slight toning and soiling, a few creases. Please see photos for details.
