Kuninao (1793 - 1854) Japanese Woodblock Reprint
Beauty Serving Tea

Comments - Charming scene of a beauty serving tea to a courtesan. She stands at right with a teakettle in her hand, smiling down at her companion. The courtesan kneels beside a tobacco set in a box with a tea cup on top, a pipe and tobacco pouch on the floor nearby. She wears a brown and black checked kimono over a red under robe, her hair adorned with a tortoiseshell comb and hairpins. The first time we've seen this attractive design in reprint.

Artist - Kuninao (1793 - 1854)

Image Size - 14" x 9 3/4"

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Slight creasing at edges, a few small marks, small indented line. Please see photos for details.
