Samurai with a Red Wig

Comments - Interesting kabuki scene of a samurai wearing a shaggy red wig arguing with a companion. He scowls angrily as he looks across the room at a man at left, who glares back at him, leaning forward aggressively. The samurai in the center frowns as he watches the young man at upper left, who pays no attention to the confrontation taking place. Large expressive figures, nicely detailed with a burnished geometric pattern on the black coat and kimono, and the black scabbard.
