Beauties, men, and young children wade in the water in the foreground, some carrying baskets of shellfish. Visitors stroll along the embankment at left, stopping for refreshments at a tea stand overlooking the sea. An attractive composition with soft shading in the water and sky. The Boston Museum of Fine Arts has this image in its collection.
