The Seven Flowers of Autumn, 1847

Comments - Charming scene of two women looking out the window of a house, admiring the evening view of the garden. The beauty at right smiles as her companion as she rests one hand along the window frame, holding her sleeve to her chin. Her red kimono is decorated with morning glories. The woman at left gestures excitedly. An ornate lantern hangs overhead, and autumn flowers and grasses frame the view at lower right and can be seen in the distance at upper left. An attractive design, nicely detailed.
