Segawa Kikunojo as a Beauty

Comments - Interesting kabuki portrait of Segawa Kikunojo as a seated beauty, looking up with an angry expression, her mouth slightly agape. She wears an outer robe shaded from mauve to light green with a design of blossoms and leaves over a blue kimono and red under robe, tied with a black obi featuring large medallions. Her hair is arranged in a loop with a comb and hairpins. A nice expressive figure.

Artist - Toyokuni III/Kunisada (1786 - 1864)

Image Size - 15 1/8" x 10 1/8"

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Small loss at edge, wormholes, repaired. Slight soiling, a few creases. Please see photos for details.
