Series; Tales of Ise in Fashionable Brocade Prints (Furyu nishiki-e Ise monogatari)

Tales of Ise in Fashionable Brocade Prints - Charming design from Shunsho's circa 1770 - 1773 series illustrating the famous "Tales of Ise," the story of a nobleman's life from youth to old age and his romantic encounters along the way. A nice choice for a collector interested in early Edo prints or classic Japanese literature.
