Beauties with a Bowl

Comments - Attractive image of two beauties beside a bowl of water atop a tray. The seated woman at right gestures at the bowl, a small red lacquer sake cup floating in it. She wears a rust colored robe bordered with flowers and leaves, tied with a boldly patterned green obi. Her companion smiles as she looks down, her green and white striped kimono tied with a pink obi. A charming subject and a rare original Utamaro design.

Image Size - 13 3/4" x 9 3/8"
