Original Meiji era Japanese Woodblock Print
Beauty at the Water's Edge

Comments - Charming portrait of a beauty strolling along the water's edge, smiling as she looks back over her shoulder, gesturing with one hand. She wears a lavender kimono with a delicate netted pattern and pale yellow chrysanthemums over a red under robe, and she carries an umbrella. Reeds grow along the shore with a dock and pilings at lower left. An attractive design.
