Comments - Lovely triptych depicting upper-class beauties enjoying the cherry blossoms on a spring day. The young woman sits on a cushion at bottom center, leaning against an armrest as a beauty offers her sake from a long-handled server. At right, another lady-in-waiting carries in a tray piled with sweets. The room overlooks a courtyard garden framed by flowering cherry trees. A few women kneel at the edge of the water, while others cross an arched wooden bridge over a pond. The palace extends into the distance on either side, the architecture carefully rendered. A charming design, detailed with light embossing on the white kimono collars.

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Three separate panels. Paper remnants on reverse at edges from previous mounting. Hole, repaired. Wrinkling throughout, slight toning and soiling. Please see photos for details.
