Courtesan beneath a Blossoming Cherry Tree

Comments - Charming portrait of a courtesan posing beneath a blossoming cherry tree, pausing to look back over her shoulder. She wears a black outer kimono patterned with chrysanthemums, tied with an obi featuring large medallions. Her hair is arranged in two large loops with a large comb and many hairpins, and she wears tall black lacquer geta clogs. An attractive Edo era beauty design.

Condition - This print with good color and detail as shown. Horizontal folds. A few small holes, repaired. Creasing, slight toning and soiling, a few small spots and marks. Please see photos for details.
