Cherry Blossoms in the Yoshiwara, 1864 - Attractive view of the Yoshiwara in springtime, with blossoming cherry trees filling the center garden. Patrons and courtesans stroll along the street lined with teahouses, while others watch from the upper story verandahs, the eaves strung with red paper lanterns. Golden yellow clouds frame the scene at top and bottom.
