Comments - Fantastic scene from the Sino-Japanese War of crowds viewing the Chinese warship Zhenyuan, which was captured by the Japanese Imperial Navy during the Battle of Weihaiwei. Visitors pack the decks of the ship, with boats ferrying people to and from the shore at Yokosuka. A fascinating historic image. The ship was repaired and entered service in the Japanese Navy as the Chin Yen.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Three attached panels, backed with somewhat stiff paper. Vertical folds. Small losses at corners, wormholes, repaired. Slight toning and soiling, a few spots and creases, slight curling. Please see photos for details.
