Comments - Interesting kabuki scene of Nakamura Kozo I and Nakamura Fukusuke I as two men walking through the street at New Year's. The samurai at left frowns angrily as he looks up, a fan between his hands which are hidden beneath the sleeves of his black kimono. A servant follows behind carrying a trunk over his shoulder. At upper left, a traditional holiday display of pine and bamboo can be seen.

Image Size - 14 5/8" x 9 3/4" + margins as shown

Condition - This print with excellent detail as shown. Horizontal folds. A few holes, repaired. Wrinkling throughout, toning, slight soiling, a few marks. Please see photos for details.
