Couple beneath a Blossoming Cherry Tree, 1864

Comments - Interesting kabuki double portrait of a couple beneath a cherry tree. The man rubs his head in a puzzled manner as he looks to the side, a fan in his outstretched hand. The beauty looks up at him suspiciously, a tie-dyed cloth stretched between her hands. White blossoms frame the evening sky above. Nice expressive figures.

Image Size - 14 1/2" x 9 1/2"
