Minamoto no Yoshitsune Goes to War, 1864 - Handsome depiction of Minamoto no Yoshitsune's troops on their way to war. The procession files along both banks of a river. A fringed standard flutters overhead as the samurai pass the tall pine trees along the embankment. On the far shore, men push and pull a large black lacquer cart with a bell on it, another man striking it with a mallet as they move. A second cart with a drum follows behind. An interesting design, nicely detailed.
