Portrait of a Beauty - Charming portrait of a beauty looking back over her shoulder by Moronobu, the earliest master of ukiyo-e. She wears an intricately patterned rust colored kimono with large floral motifs accented with gold mica. Her brown obi also features a gold mica design. Her hair is pulled back into a low knot, adorned with a gold mica comb and hairpin. A handsome design in an usually large format, published by Kyoto Hanga-in with publisher's seal in lower left margin. The first time we've seen this subject in reprint.

Condition - This print with excellent color and detail as shown. Folds along edges of image, horizontal folds, creasing, a couple stains. Please note, due to the size, this print may be shipped rolled. Please see photos for details.
