Comments - Handsome triptych depicting court beauties strolling across the suspension bridge in the Fukiage Garden at the Imperial Palace. In the center, a lady-in-waiting shelters a princess with an umbrella as she watches cranes flying overhead. At left, another attendant looks over the cable of the suspension bridge at the water below. Blossoming cherry trees frame the scene. A charming, rarely seen Chikanobu design, nicely detailed with light embossing on the white kimono collars and trim.
