Munakata's Calendar Prints - A terrific design from a series of calendar prints by the modern master Shiko Munakata, commissioned by Yaskawa Electric Corporation beginning in 1958. Munakata designed a new series of twelve prints each year which were reproduced as lithographs and sent to the company's customers throughout Japan and abroad. The calendars proved so popular that Yaskawa continued to publish his designs yearly after his death. Please note, this is a lithograph reproduction printed on glossy paper, not a woodblock print. A nice colorful design.
